Guntars Galvanovskis is a Latvian entrepreneur, investor, and business executive with more than 20 years of experience across sports management, real estate, construction, forestry, agriculture, gaming, and strategic business development.
His professional journey began in competitive sports, where basketball became a foundation for leadership, discipline, and high-performance culture that later translated into business.
Guntars and I have been business partners since 2014, working together across mobile gaming and emerging technology projects. From the beginning, our strengths complemented each other naturally. Guntars has a unique business vision and an ability to see opportunities beyond what is in front of us. He has always been the visionary - constantly challenging ideas, thinking ahead, and pushing us to build something bigger than we initially imagined.

I’ve known Guntars since our school days, and our friendship grew into a business partnership in the early 2000s, starting with real estate development and construction projects. Over the years, that evolved into a long-term partnership in the forestry business. Having worked together for more than two decades, I know Guntars as a trusted and reliable partner - entrepreneurial, ambitious, and always focused on moving forward. The fact that we continue building businesses together after all these years speaks for itself.

I had the pleasure of working with Guntars for several years as a business consultant across multiple ventures. He is one of the most strategic and forward-thinking entrepreneurs I’ve worked with—highly intelligent, decisive, and exceptionally skilled at building and growing businesses. Working with him was both inspiring and rewarding, thanks to his integrity, professionalism, and ability to bring out the best in the people around him.

Working with Guntars at Beetroot Lab taught me that ‘impossible’ often just means nobody has pushed hard enough yet. He constantly challenged us to think bigger and pursue ideas that initially seemed completely out of reach - and then helped turn them into reality. Getting Conor McGregor involved with our game was one of those moments: something few of us believed was possible until we actually made it happen. That mindset of aiming beyond the obvious is what I remember most about working with Guntars.
